Also known as: Trg Nikole Pašića
Nikola Pašić square is one of Belgrade’s central squares surrounded by Dom Sindikata (Syndicates House), the National Parliament and Bulevar. Just beside the square is Pionirski park, the former royal garden, and the New and Old royal palaces (today Presidential palace and city assembly).
The square takes it’s name from one of the top Serbian politicians of the beginning of the 20th century, and his statue is located at the center of the square.
The square is connected to the Terazije square through a covered passage called Bezistan. It is also connected with Čumićevo sokače, a forgotten shopping center, converted to the Belgrade Design District.
