Lido (italian: beach) is the most popular summer resort of the citizens of Zemun, and one of the most popular of Belgrade. It is a sandy beach located on the Big War island on the Danube river in front of Zemun quay. The beach is maintained by a private company, but offers public access to it’s facilities.
Getting here
Lido beach can be accessed by a private boat, canoe or kayak, by a small ferry from Zemun quay (around 0.8€), and most summers it can be accessed by a pontoon bridge from the quay.
