On the central Republic Square, there’s a fresh club with a traditional theme, called Kafanica Trg. It’s a relatively hidden place, since it’s located in the basement of the building of the Belgrade Culture Center, and the entrance looks as if it was an abandoned shop.
Inside the club the atmosphere is typical of a kafana, with it’s starogradska (old town) music and the rustic interior with two floors.
The crowd that gathers there is pretty cool and not much alike those hanging on the mainstream river clubs.
